Episode 038: The Autumn Budget 2025

Welcome back to another episode of The Property Journey Podcast: Beginner to Expert.
The Autumn Budget 2025 has arrived and after much speculation, we finally get to look at the details of what the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is set to bring in in terms of taxes, spending and cuts! 
We take a look at what has been announced, ranging from National Minimum Wage increases to Threshold Freezes, increases in property taxes on profits made, to changes set to be enforced on pensions and Cash ISA's. 
The Autumn Budget 2025 was set to be a doom and gloom budget, certainly if the speculation before hand was anything to go by, but judging by our interpretation, it certainly hasn't been as bad as what was expected.
This episode is our own personal interpretations of the budget, and many will have a differing opinion on it. If you would like to discuss your own personal situations, feel free to get in touch.

Episode 037: The Autumn Budget 2025 Preview

Welcome back to another episode of The Property Journey Podcast: Beginner to Expert.
In Episode 37 is all about the Autumn Budget 2025, with a full preview of what potentially could be expected when the Budget is announced on November 26th 2025.
So far, there has already been speculation as to what could potentially be announced by the chancellor, with potentially increase in Income Tax, VAT and National Insurance (either one of these three, increases and reductions, or a mixture). 
There has also been discussions around revamping the Stamp Duty tax, introduction of capital gains tax on residential property profits, amongst other increases in areas such as Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains and more.
As this is a preview, this episode is simply speculation and we will not know for definite any of the potential changes that are set to be introduced, until they are announced on November 26th.
